What Are Missing Numbers in Numerology?
Missing numbers are the digits 1–9 your birth name never uses — homework, not a hex.
Homework, not a hex
The inclusion table counts every digit in the birth name. Whatever never shows up is missing. Older books call these karmic lessons. This house calls them homework. A missing 5 is not a life without freedom. It is a life that has to practice freedom on purpose, because the name does not hand it over for free.
Do not marry someone to “complete” a missing number. That is how people outsource their practice list.
How they are found
Map the full birth name to Pythagorean values 1–9. Any digit with a count of zero is missing. The opposite end of the same table is Hidden Passion — the digit the name cannot stop saying.
A new spelling rewrites the list. The birthday does not. See name-change numerology before you treat a married name as a cure.
How to read them
A missing number is a skill the chart did not pack. Work it the way you would work a weak wrist — small reps, not a personality transplant. Pair the list with Life Path and Expression so you know what the rest of the chart already does well.
The numbers
Gift, shadow, and practice for every core and master.
